Join our guide Craig for a 2 hour introduction to nature and wildlife photography in the beautiful grounds of New Park Farm in Brockenhurst. New Park is home to an abundance of photogenic habitats and wildlife.

The session will provide you with helpful tips and techniques to maximise the potential of your DSLR Camera. You will leave the session with a detailed understanding of the functions and capabilities of your DSLR Camera and the confidence to capture special moments and memories on your own.
Our guide is local to the New Forest and familiar with the landscapes and nature at New Park Farm. He has been one of the official photographers of the New Forest and Hampshire County Show for the last 2 years.
So no matter what the weather, Craig will show you the best spots to capture New Park's Wildlife at its best.
What will you learn?
- Learn how to best hold the camera, explain use of tripod and to use items nearby for support.
- Breathing and straight horizons
- Different modes: Shutter speed, Aperture, ISO (moving from auto to manual functions)
- Taking an image
- Discuss different genres
- Get out around site and practice throughout
You will leave the lesson with the confidence to capture special moments in your own time.
Your guide will be using a Nikon camera.
Attendees will have the opportunity to try out a camera kindly provided by London Camera Exchange.
